Jim Heffner

I've been very fortunate to have been associated with Suick for 44 of my 47 years of chasing muskies.  I have been with Suick for 3 generations.  All of my big fish have been caught on Suicks during full moon periods.

I purchased my first Suick in 1967.  My first cast I caught a 38" musky.  I was asked to test the 10" baits, weighted, before they were sold on the market.  In 1994 again on my first cast I caught the largest musky at the National Alliance with a 10" Q series weighted Suick.

In 2008, at the World Musy Hunt I caught a 51" hybrid using a double weighted flat black 9" Suick.  This is my largest fish to date and my biggest thrill was to watch this magnificent musky swim off.

Pete Brzezinski

Hello my name is Pete Brzezinski, I live in Superior WI with my supportive wife Debbie and son Beau. Living in this part of the state gives me endless opportunities to fish muskies from the Hayward area, Duluth/Superior area and up to the giant muskies of Lake Vermillion. Over the past 11 years I have focused my efforts on the vast St. Louis River and the monster muskies that live here!

I have experienced guiding beginners that are looking to catch their first muskie and seasoned muskie veterans that are after the fish of a lifetime. I've filmed for the Versus and World Fishing Network channels on "The Next Bite," as well as John Gillespie's Waters and Woods numerous times. I have also done many magazine and newspaper articles with a variety of different outdoor writers from Chicago to Duluth. In addition, I work closely with Visit Duluth and Douglas County Chamber of Commerce generating tourism and writing weekly fishing reports.

I chase muskies from opening day right up until it freezes up tight in late November. This past season I broke ice out of the landing for three days until I had to give into mother nature. I have no set hours when I'm out fishing. If we are out and the fishing is good or we locate a good fish we stay, this may mean we stay into the dark so bring your headlamp!
